The brand new Carnegie Learning Middle School Math Solution textbooks are in classrooms and we're asking what teachers have to say about the new book (and its new look!)

Carrie Clemment, John Muir Middle School
Carrie teaches 8th grade at John Muir Middle School in Wausau, Wisconsin. She has 28 years of teaching experience under her belt – go Carrie! Fun fact: Carrie has an interesting summer job – managing a strawberry farm. “I live and work at the farm from mid-June to mid-July each summer, and I love it!”
"I really like the way the year begins. It is much more hands-on. We found that students needed a lot of refresher on algebra concepts to be successful with the way the course began in the past, but now I felt like we were able to dig in with much less need for concept review.
I am loving the teacher materials. Planning is really well laid out for me, and I'm able to pull from the resources to outline a lesson quite easily. I also really appreciate the questions that are provided, and I use those daily in my planning and teaching.
Both my students and I like the assignments built in to the end of each lesson. They are great practice of the lesson concepts and a good review of those of the past. Having those be a part of the materials helps to keep my students organized, which we all appreciate!"
